Donald Joseph Qualls also known as DJ Qualls in America is an American actor and producer. Shooting to fame for his role on Road Trip he has since been featured in more than 20 feature films, including The New Guy Hustle & Flow as well as The Core. In addition, he's appeared in over 22 shows, such as Breaking Bad Supernatural and Scrubs. Qualls has fought Hodgkin's lymphoma since he was 14 years old. After two years of treatment, the cancer is now in the process of remission. But, earlier treatment had a severe impact on his health as well as stunted growth. Once he started acting as if financial security was his ultimate goal as his experience with poverty had been a part of his childhood. He said in an interview that he said that if I do not have financial stability or I find myself feeling out of control in the world, I'll be miserable. In an interview the interviewer also talks about his childhood. His goal is to stop bullies. The cruelty he experiences breaks his heart. DJ's dream role would be to play a father figure in reel as well as in actual life. However, he does admit that most directors do not choose him for these kinds of jobs. He would like to become a father and be able to devote less time to his career and more time with his children.
